Hi Jody,
Congratulations!
You'll fall more and more in love with it when you start to use
it.

1. Pushing the lever to the lens without pressing the button
alllow you to stop down the lens. The timer works in the same
way as the MLU but in the other direction (press the button then
push the lever to the grip).

2. It's another way to indicate the exposure compensation. 1/4
means -2, 1/2 means -1 and so on. It denotes the amount of light
that reaches the film, not the amount of stop or EV you are
using to compensate. The results are the same, though...

3. If you have the lens set on a slow aperture and you have no
film in the camera the resulting time will be extremely long.
The LX reads on the film plane; using exposure longer than, say,
1/60, the meter reads on the film itself. Without film the
camera is reading on the black pressure plate. That's why it
choses an exposure so long.

5. The grip can be easily removed by unscrewing the big screw on
the bottom. The lugs are really strong but I never test them...
I do not remember how to remove the lugs. I should have the
instructions somewhere, though.

You are welcome.
