I'm pretty much where you are on this. I don't think retro bodies are 
going to help me take better pictures. Right now, I'm loving the K10D, 
but still learning what it can do. I haven't even tried the ISO mode. 
Because I've had important work to do, I'm still using it the way I 
used my D. But the image quality is obviously and totally superior. 
Noise is NOT a problem. If anything, it has been minimized. A stunning 
technical achievement. I have done some very tight crops, and the 
results are still very nice. I look forward to your observations.
