Taliban took power by force of arms and killing lots of Afghan folks in
a civil war that still is underway, although Taliban controls most of
the country. There were no elections, and I am not aware of any public
opinion polls indicating that the most of the general population
approves of their rule. Indeed, many do not since there are large
numbers of Afghan refugees seeking refuge elsewhere.
Got any data on that "predominant concensus"?
