Correct there Paul.

It happend to Erin, i didi not beleive her, just thought she had a  
setting wrong, but then it happened to me, with fresh batteries,  
chargables and fresh liths.

Totally dead, nothing worked, then it didi then it didn;t.
No af no metering, then it would then it shut down on its own, etc.

The repair estimate is wriiten up so that its difficult to follow, and  
it takes little to confuse me.

I'm really not sure what repairs are for the camera, or lens, as they  
both refer to "boards" and "circutry"

Thus my call to them.:-)

I';ll dedide after they call back but i think i may fix it and hope to  
get that money back, and at least sell a working camera.

If the FA 70-200 is really $250 to fix, i won't bother, as they can be  
found for 1/2 that, and sell as a parts lens
