The one thing I've found my Pentax doesn't work well for is sports action. The continuous auto-focus mode just doesn't work fast enough to keep up with baseball, football (American style) or football (what the rest of the world knows as football & the US calls soccer), and the buffer isn't large enough or fast enough for motor drive type shots.
