I have owned a 1987 Chevy, a 1994 GMC and now a 2003 GMC. All 4x4.

The first 2,plus a 1979 GMC 2wd all, at best gave me 16 mpg.

My 2003 with the vortex ebgine gives me around 22-23 mpg
You just need to kneo how to work with things.
