I wouldn't reply to this normally, since I'm living in a God-Free zone, but I just have to point out that the performance of my 10 year old Starlet compared quite favorably to what's promised from the Prius. I paid $800.00 cash and would have driven it for more than one year, (it was so easy to repair that even the average monkey had a chance to not screw it up), if it hadn't been totaled in a losing argument with a bridge abutment during a snow storm. It also wasn't that dirty due to it's low fuel usage, (I was averaging about 48mpg in mixed driving weighted about 65 highway, 35 city), and in fact produced less CO2 simply because it burned less fuel, (yes it probably had higher NOX, CO and unburned Hydrocarbon emissions though probably not that much higher).
