How do you lock focus so it's not refocus when you press shutter button half way?

Hm hm this looks like more logical than what I was writing :-)
But all and all it seems to me tricky to hold shutter button half way and than for
setting exposure compensation, I guess I would push it totally :-)
Maybe I just see it too complicated, pity that I can't really try it, no one of local
shop has pentax in stock and if they have it is mz-50 or mz-7.
P.S.: If anybody from NL is reading this list do you have any suggestion for a good
shop with pentax equipment?
