I have not read very deeply into this subject, but I remember reading
something that indicates that the specks should not be big enough to
see with the naked eye. If your spots continue to show up in exactly
the same place, I would try swapping lenses before mailing the thing
out to pentax. Sorry if that sounds very obvious and is something you
have already tried, but this is the only helpful thing I can think of
to say. Good luck, I know how frustrating that is. I had to clean my
sensor three times the last time I did it, so I used up three pecpads.
Those aren't cheap.
