Well, I missed the thread about linear RAW conversion. I actually stumbled on the linear RAW option about a week o two ago. I was trying to convert an image and it was proving tricky. I had overexposed some shots. I was aiming for slight overexposure but had gone a little too far. As I liked these particular poses I was trying different methods to convert the RAW files. Through trial & error, I found that a linear conversion gave me the best results and also got rid of a slight colour cast present in the other conversions. Not quite the same as the hybrid method in the article but quite effective. Here's the result http://www.pbase.com/wendybeard/image/72758272
