I've a number of things to people in Asia, South America, Europe and Africa.
In all cases, I require puchasers of goods that live outside the US to communicate with me before placing a bid, and I put that right in the auction description. I do this because I will not quote the cost of shipping without knowing where the item is going, and because the cost of shipping might adversely affect the desirability of the item due to price. It opens the line for sensible and effective communications, which always improves the quality of the transaction.
