Would anyone know if that academic discount gives you exactly the same
version of the program that everyone else will get for $199? I've
always thought that they give you the lite version, but I could be wrong.

I am a continual student just to get academic discounts. I find one online
class to take each semester. And by doing that, I must say, I have had some
interesting classes too. Last semester it was Shakespeare, this semester it is
American Film, 1900-1950's.

Nyah, they are probably just the same. Unless they state otherwise. But so
far I have only found one program where it might be significantly different,
Peachtree Accounting. The Adobe programs I have bought are the same -- I think
I bought CS Illustrator Academic Version. Just the packaging, CD/DVD label,
etc., is different. Think about it, it's too darn much trouble to make
various edition varieties.
