hi, thanks, I have V2.4 already so I guess I am good on that.
Im still not clear on Pentax photolab and browser though. Are
you saying I will want or need to get these latest versions
or are they all just junk not worth the effort?

Start PS then go to: Help>About Plug-In>Camera RAW, it will flash up a 
screen which will tell you what version you have. v2.4 is the latest for
PS CS.

The supplied software isn't worth it IMO. The latest versions of Photo
Lab 
& Browser can be downloaded from the Pentax USA web site.
