Remember that you're working with beta version software just at present. Right now, Lightroom v4.1 beta is not appending information into the DNG files properly. To move rendered files that have been completed from one system to another, you have export to a photo binder and then import that on the target system, or export to a PSD or TIFF or JPEG file and render that.
There's also the possibility that the settings are in the DNG file but they're just not being read yet.
