        ... unless you're a cheap bastard.  For many, it's a viable 
inexpensive alternative so long as you can live with its shortcomings.  I 
just get annoyed when people piss and moan about how difficult it is to 
use compared to Photoshop, whatever.  It *isn't* a replacement for 
Photoshop.  Since it didn't cost you anything and you didn't help code it 
up, you've got no right to piss and moan about how to use it IMO.  You get 
what you pay for.  Also, the "difficulty to use" is often simply a 
"difference of how to use it."  In Winders and MacOS, things tend to 
look/act similar.  Using Linux/Unix, one gets used to a different 
look/feel to how things work.
