Thanks Boris. The manual for the P70 says that high capacity batteries 
may not be the best - so perhaps that is what you are experiencing. This 
new set of 2650 mAh seems to be working well. I do have a lead acid 
video cam battery and car type adapter plug for it - I used ot use that 
to power my X's drive using the car adapter. (It's handy because it will 
power anything that runs off a car adapter, like a cell phone as well.)

Does your model do the verified card transfers? If so - does that work 
with SD cards.
