Indeed, most recent adverts on dpreview indicate that SDHC cards are coming of age and are getting up to speed with lower capacity faster cards. However, personally I view these things as certain kind of accessories that I use only for photography. Thus I try to minimize the effort and investment I spend on these things. Consider CF cards I had with my *istD. Basically they became totally useless for me once I moved to K10D...
