I took the sample test photo above today of a user smct 200mm f4.0 I am selling and I must say it looks petty damn good in comparison to any of my other lenses in terms of sharpness, contrast, saturation and overall rendering. ( resolution impossible to see of course in this reduced for web image ). Not bad for an approx 35 yr old lens. So far I have been very impressed with every m42 Pentax SMCT lens I have tried on the istDS. But a real M42 SLR would be so much easier to use.
