They've decided their niche is rangefinder cameras. But I do agree 100% that if someone decided to make an M42 DSLR, Cosina would be involved - much like the Epson RD-1. (Maybe they'll put a manual shutter cock on it, too). Regardless of interest, I can't see anyone other than Cosina being in a position to start cranking out M42 bodies.
