Yes, the Sandisk ImageMate readers are USB 2.0 only. However, that's not much of a problem ... You have a Power Macintosh G4 DP, correct? Unless you have all your expansion slots stuffed full, you can add USB 2.0 ports to it with an expansion card for about $30.
