I had the first bent pin on my CF card reader just this week.  I bent it 
back and everything was fine.

Form factors on memory getting smaller is a good thing.  I find SD smaller 
than I personally prefer, though I believe if the world was such that CF 
never existed and SD was the original size, I wouldn't know the difference.
