It's a bit distracting not only because it's there but because there are bright and dark elements at odd angles in it. I'd do some rendering work to reduce its visibility by evening out the tonal distribution and softening its impact on the photo, or by evening it out and accentuating it to give the sense of space and distance between it and the barn.
