I have to agree there, both images look sharp to my eye, but it's hard to tell with web based images. I'm going to give my K 18/3.5 some use shortly to see how it compares with the DA 18-55 if it's better then the zoom may have to go, I'll end up carrying a bag of primes, including the K 18mm and Sigma 24mm manual focus.
