Those were the same glass as the old FA 50/2.8 Macro and FA 100/2.8
macro.

No, the optical formulae were changed. I believe the D FA 100 macro has 
a new optical formula. Pentax announced that the D FA 50 has an optical 
formula that is changed from the FA 50 macro, but is apparently based on it.

We'll certainly see bigger sensors within 2 years. There's simply no
way to avoid getting killed in the pixel race otherwise. When the time
comes, Pentax will make lenses for the new sensor size (if necessary).

However many times people say that Pentax won't produce a FF DSLR, I 
continue to think that under the right circumstances they will.
