Those were the same glass as the old FA 50/2.8 Macro and FA 100/2.8 macro. ----- No, the optical formulae were changed. I believe the D FA 100 macro has a new optical formula. Pentax announced that the D FA 50 has an optical formula that is changed from the FA 50 macro, but is apparently based on it. ----- We'll certainly see bigger sensors within 2 years. There's simply no way to avoid getting killed in the pixel race otherwise. When the time comes, Pentax will make lenses for the new sensor size (if necessary). ----- However many times people say that Pentax won't produce a FF DSLR, I continue to think that under the right circumstances they will.
