I've only got one pocketable, so it has to be the only candidate! An Optio 430RS, which I resurrected when someone else thought it was dead. I find it works well enough, and has a decent zoom range. For the sort of grab-shot I use it for, the shutter delay hasn't been significant, and the quality of the JPEG's is acceptable at worst. Most of the time I do carry an SLR, whether it's digital or film depends on my mood - at the moment I'm often hefting (literally, it's a heavy beast by comparison) a K2DMD, but using a range of lenses from M28 to FA*28-105!
