Thanks Ann. It's only 28mm equivalent, so not a particularly extreme wide angle. I think the shape of the beck, the downward viewpoint and the roundness of the hill make an oval, which exaggerates the effect.
If you do get the chance to come over here, and would like to visit Staithes, do let me know and I'd be happy to help with any arrangements. It's a beautiful little place, and the people are very friendly. -- Bob > >here is a little gallery of photos from my trip this week to Staithes > >and the cliffs round about: > > > >http://www.web-options.com/photos/ > > > > > > > > This one is my fave, bob > http://www.web-options.com/photos/content/_2273693_large.html > > I'd like a teensy bit less sky in it -- but the blur on the > left adds to > the feeling > > I don't usually _fancy_ (as you Brit's say) such wide angle > stuff but it > is great here. > I'd love to visit that town > > ann -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
