Godfrey,
When you refer to the "executable archive package", are you referring
to the download "Microsoft Windows Me/2000/XP Version" referenced in
the Pentax advisory you posted?
In the case of ver 1.10 firmware, icons were produced. In this case, I
found them in a "downloads" file. I dbl click them and get nothing as
to their application. I don't know from "directory" or "DCIM" and
opening a "window" for the SD card.
Do you now see my pitiful position. "Geek free photog" who wanted more
control over the photo process.
Think I'll call my local web geek/webmaster and beg a favor.
