The gotcha is Bluetooth. Lots of people, like this guy, have sources which indicate 'high-speed' bluetooth support in new cameras, which never arrive. That's because bluetooth is a low-bandwidth technology which is pretty much useless on a camera. It's just too slow (High Speed bluetooth can handle low-quality audio but not images, it's only a couple megs a second). Wireless support on cameras will be 802.11g or n, which are fast enough to be usefull (This is what the current wireless dongles for the Nikon and Canon pro bodies use). The only way Bluetooth will show up in Cameras is as a replacement for IR and wired remotes (Which is the sort of thing it's designed for). If the guy posting the rumours says Bluetooth, the rumour is likely bogus. -Adam -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
