"All of the above" :-) You need an adaptor to use screwmount
lenses (uh, folks, there's also an adaptor for medium-format
lenses, right?) but you can use any version of the K-mount on
the K-1000. Autofocus, manual focus, "A", non-"A", whatever.

Personally I'm rather partial to the M 85/2, but I've heard
that other Pentax 85mm lenses are even better.
