The K10D sensor seems much more prone to CA than the *ist-D. It's not limited to full frame lenses - I see virtually no CA in my A* 200 or 400, but get moderate CA in the DA 18-55 and slight CA in the DA 16-45. A few days ago I tested those zooms against the FA 20-35, and the full frame lens displayed much less CA (virtually none). Sadly - one of my old favorite lenses, the Kiron 105mm f2.8 macro - suffers from CA so badly on the K10D that it's very difficult to correct. I wound up replacing it with the DA 100 f.28 macro - which one first impressions (just got it yesterday) displays no CA problems. At least it passed my tree-branches-against-light-sky test. I find that ACR helps, but I have yet to see it actually eliminate CA. It can reduce it, sometimes.
