I ran across this case in a local camera shop & wondered what camera it might be for.
It's a brown leather case with a flap top that folds over and snaps in the front; and a front flap with snaps on each side that covers a lower compartment. It's about 8" high, 6" wide and 4" thick. The compartments are divided up something like this (excuse the poor quality of the drawing): || || The top compartment opens upward || || and looks like it could hold a || || SLR body with a lens attached ||______________|| ||--------------|| The lower compartment opens to ||______________|| the front and is divided into 3 ||------||------|| parts. The part that goes all the || || || way across is about 1" high, and || || || the two square compartments are ||______||______|| the right size for each to hold |----------------| a "normal" lens. At first I thought it might be a case for Pentax binoculars until I realized it had the two compartments & binoculars wouldn't fit all the way down into it. Inside, I found a partial Pentax Auto110 kit: body, AF-130 flash, winder, 50, 24 & 18 lens - but I'm sure this case was NOT made for the Pentax Auto110. For one thing, it's way too large. The 50 lens has a UV filter on it. There was also a Soligor 1.7x tele-converter for the Auto110, but I went ahead and bought that. Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone recognizes this case from the description? -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
