I had my glasses on this morning while pulling up a
.jpg in PS. Something fascinating happened.

I was looking at a shot I've been endlessly tweaking
that some here have seen (the two young ladies and the
dandelion), when I thought I noticed all of the
fringing was back in the image after I'd removed it!

I quickly realized that it was, in fact, my glasses
and the angle at which I was viewing the monitor! I
looked at the image while cocking my head to one side
so that I was peering through the bottom outside
corner of the right eyeglass lens and got the typical
purple fringe one would expect to see! Peering out of
the diagonally opposite corner produced the reddish
fringe.

If you were glasses you should give this a try.
Glasses too are not immune from CA at the corners it
seems.

Fascinating.
