Hey William, That's really interesting that you say that your istD was prone to battery induced glitches, because I was observing behavior this weekend I'd never seen before. I'd put fairly (but not completely) freshly recharged batteries into the camera, and it would light up with the display indicating a completely depleted battery. I'd take one image, and the display would change to a partially depleted battery. Another image, and the display indicated a perfectly charged battery. This behavior concerns me. Barry
