Thank you Bob. I'm pretty upset now, so I may be wording myself badly. The main problem is the folders that Library has lost. If I can't restore Library I will have to rebuild them, and will loose a lot of tags etc. I assume Loightroom will find the missing files if I'm able to get the old database back. Because the files are all there, as far as I can tell.
