None of the Pentax digital compacts are that appealing to me.

If you want image stabilization, the Panasonic LX2, TZ2, and TZ3 are
superb. I believe all of them allow RAW capture as well and take SD
cards. Leica-designed lenses and reasonable manual controllability.

If you want high ISO quality in a pocketsized camera, the Fuji F30
and F31 do a super job, but do not capture in RAW format or have
image stabilization. They take xD cards (not my favorite format but
they work).

I've had the Panasonic LX1 and have a Fuji F30. Both do well. I found
the higher sensitivity to be more useful than the IS and RAW for what
I use a camera like this for.
