I am with you on this one Ken.

I have talked to numerous photographers concerning shooting 'style' and even a
few PDMLers. I state what you do, I shoot as if it were slide film. I am
often using an external light meter, even with my *istD.
It is all part of the package - get the exposure right and a pleasing
composition and you can sit back and let others enjoy the images without having
to tell them to wait until you 'correct' them.

The clerks at my photo store got a kick out of the fact that my slide images of
Uluru in Australia matched the images they had seen taken with my *istD.
I have been told on numerous occasions by the lab that they love to work with
my images. I am consistent with exposure.

My passion for photography is in getting the image, someday I may sit down and
spend time post-processing (I have never been in a darkroom) and this may open
up a new world for me but for the moment I am content.
