If it is only the battery charger that you need to run then you could
probably just get the cord as it looks like a standard shaver/laptop style
cord. If you have multiple appliances to run then you should bring along a
US power board and plug that into an Australian plug adapter.

Check the appliance or plug pack to make sure that it has something like
100-250V and 50-60Hz printed on it and you should be fine. 

Australian plugs (and NZ as well) use flat diagonal pins:

and the earthed version has a flat vertical pin underneath:

The appropriate converters will be available at the airport shops when you
arrive if none of your local stores have them.

All you need is an adapter to enable you to plug a US plug into
an Australian socket.  The K10D charger is quite happy to work
with 240V 50Hz.  In fact most electronics (notebook computers,
cell phones, etc.) come with universal chargers nowadays.
