I agree. Looks fine to me on my recently-profiled monitor.
And the display of Frank's laptop, though inexpensive, *is* properly 
profiled with a Pantone Spyder 2.

And that *is* a cool shot, Frank! (Though the trumpeter looks a little 
too clean cut to be a proper jazz musician!)
