No, it's you who don't get it.

We all understand all that market-speak about declining sales revenues.
Sure, Kodak off-shored their film manufacture to the Chinese. But, you
know what? The Chinese saw an opportunity to make some money supplying
film to those of us who still want it.

Somebody bought Agfa's equipment. Maybe it was just for the parts, like
someone wrote, but I expect it was because they thought they'd found a
market. It may be a niche market, but it's still a market.

All the pros are going digital. BFD! So what? We just don't care!

You see a glass half empty and getting emptier by the moment. We see
there's still enough left in the bottle for those of us who want another
round. And if not, somewhere, someone's making another bottle right now.

I use both digital and film. I do so because ->BOTH<- fill some desire,
some need I have for capturing an image. And I'm not alone.

Together with my fellow film fans [try saying *THAT one* fast three
times] - who happen to be legion, BTW - we form a market; a demand ...
and where there's a demand, there will be a supply.

If it ain't under Kodak's brand, what difference does it make?
