Ok ... so you have to manually input the focal length with a F or FA lens? Hmm. That's not what Paul told me, but I'll ask him again. I don't use teleconverters much, I have a Pentax-A Rear Converter 2x- S that I used exclusively with the A50/2.8 Macro to achieve 1:1 magnification and a little better working distance for 1:4 magnification...
