Interesting comments, William. I wonder why it needs so much damping? Perhaps it has something to do with the bottom plate?-- though, this does not seem to make sense, as the bottom plate is metal and it appears to be similar to previous Pentax bottom plates. Actually, it is the Super Program's top plate that differs from previous models, as it is chrome-plated plastic, not metal.
