Yep, seems to be mirror slap IIRC, not used one for 2-3 years now. The one thing I could never get on with was the push button controls, preferred the dial on the KX, MX, LX, MZ-5 (ZX-5), MZ-5n (ZX-5n) and MZ-3. Just a personal preference, there again my first camera was an MX.
