Congratulation Perry. I mainly use mine with a Tamron adaptall SP 300/2,8 LD. I've had a lot of fun with that combo.
It focuses fine with my Tokina 100-300/4 in daylight. I've also used it with the K-500/4,5. In bright light and high contrast motifs it locks. I'd say thats the limit. I'll strongly recomend to stay away from lenses with significant CA problems. With the K-500 I need to step down at least 2 steps. This makes the combo useless for for my kind of fun. So you will probably be a lot happyer with a high quality 2,8 or perhaps a 3,5. But what a heck. Think about the money you allready have saved ;-) Tim Typo Mostly Harmless ----- Original Message ----- From: "Perry Pellechia" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Pentax-Discuss Mail List" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, September 02, 2007 2:44 AM Subject: Re: eBay Madness, Sometime you get lucky! > On 9/1/07, Digital Image Studio <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> On 02/09/07, Perry Pellechia <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> Nice find, I bought one of mine at a similar price, the current prices >> that they often acheive at auction these days seems absurd as >> compared.
