That may be part of it, but I was under the assumption all those 
testimonials are out there to draw new users in. Certainly a company that 
spends advertising dollars probably better spends it marketing to new 
untapped potential customers as opposed to those that have already bought 
into the brand.  Those who already possess a degree of brand loyalty and 
ownership likely need little prompting to make additional purchases.

(Granted there are better ones out there).

I'm beginning to agree with you.  It must not be aimed at the buying public. 
;-)

I'd suggest some judicious editing though.
