Assuming you are using a Pentax DSLR - the focal
length compared to a 35mm camera is 1.5x greater. So
the 28mm is a 42mm - quite a nice angle of view IMO.
Someday I hope to find a fast 28 prime to use as a
normal lens...

Your 100mm macro is like a 150. The lenses don't
magnify any more that on 35mm, but because the sensor
is smaller the angle of view is narrower. It's like
cropping a full framed 35 shot down.
