I wonder if your contrast is too high on your monitor.  There is
detail there to be seen.  It is subtle, however.  There are some dark
shapes in foreground that give way to a slightly lighter shade and I
can count two low hill peaks on the right prior to the top of the
last hill.

I'll have to go look on some other monitors to see how it looks.
