Heh. I'll just (in their defense) state that the number of times I've been forced to power-cycle the Powerbook I have is countable on one hand for the 4 years I've had it. Mostly (with the exception of major upgrades like this Leopard that just came out), problems that really immobilize a machine are due to hardware failures. Mostly. As someone who administers the staff network at an ISP which is half Mac, half Windows, I'll tell you that 95% of my administrative/ troubleshooting time is with the Windows boxes. That's just my real- world experience. I don't much care for the smug "Mac snobbery" where people insist that they are "intuitive" (they're not - you have to learn 'em just like any other platform) or "never have any problems" (they do have issues from time to time). But the general stability and ease-of-use when you get used to them is a lot better than anything else I have ever used in my 20 years in the computer biz.... so my favorite phrase comes out: "Works for me!".
