Which is, of course, the problem with computer images in general. Then we have the Apple 1.8 gamma vs. Windows 2.2 gamma problem. And those are a problem even on well calibrated systems. Then you have the, "Calibration, what's calibration?", folks out there. And to top it off you have the personal preferences problem, do you prefer a somewhat highkey or a somewhat lowkey image. At least in the days of chemical prints you could move the image into the proper light if you were a perfectionist.
