I'm back with another K10D question now that I was finally allowed to open my present ;-). My birthday will be later this week, but I had the party on Saturday so I now have the new toys in my hands.
I've got the K10D + BG-2 together with SanDisk Extreme-III 4GB cards. I also bought the new fantastic DA* 16-50! So far I like the kit a lot. I have set up the recording mode to RAW+ and PEF and will most likely use LR (+some CS3). In LR I think I will convert the PEFs to compressed DNG. Which would be the preferable folder name when using LR, the default xxxPENTX or xxx_DDMM? I guess if I shoot a lot of images each day I would find the date format suitable, but maybe the "fixed" name if shooting more or less occasionally. Which do you use?
