Indeed, I shoot very rarely Jpeg which is why I don't care much about WB. > Having the WB controls buried as they are in the K10D, makes setting > it manually a serious PITA. I do not feel it is that difficult compared to ist-D mainly because with the ist-D you were obliged to check the top LCD anyway. A WB button but with a viewfinder reminder would be ideal. Otherwise I prefer the K10D solution. > But as Adam suggested, it would be better if various buttons could be > user customised.. For the way I shoot, the RAW & AF buttons are > unused. Sure customization is always welcome IMO. I don't use the RAW button since I always shoot RAW and sometimes convert to Jpeg if I need to print on my little Selphy printer (which colour behaviour is atrocious btw). AF button is useful sometimes when AF is difficult and I do not want to go to MF mode. QuickShift is nice but it requires AF find its target before letting the user correct the focus if needed. > Cheers, > -- Thibault Massart aka Thibouille ---------------------- Photo: K10D,Z1,SuperA,KX,MX, P30t and KR-10x ;) ...
